It’s been confirmed that Rockstar will be using the SecuROM copy-protection DRM in the upcoming PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV, with a number of restrictions being placed on the game as a result.

New screens promise 40-hour notebooks
If you’re the type of person who is constantly forgetting to put their gadgets on charge, you’ll be itching to get your hands on a laptop based around Pixel Qi’s new technology.
According to Yahoo, Mary Lou Jepsen ? previously the head of Intel’s display division, and then later chief technology officer at Negroponte’s One Laptop Per Child ? is hoping that her newly-formed company will revolutionise the laptop industry.

Black Mesa Source trailer released
It may have been ten years since the original Half-Life was released but we can still remember just how influential and important the game was.

Elpida develops 50nm low-power DDR3 memory
Elpida says it has expanded its lineup of DDR3 RAM with what it says is the most energy-efficient memory of the type. A new format based on a 50 nanometer manufacturing process helps both reduce the size of each chip to 40mm (1.6in) square and also reduces the amount of power necessary to drive the memory. Where most DDR3 needs 1.5 volts, the new memory can scale back to 1.35V or even 1.2V in notebooks, servers and other low-profile computers that may not run at full power.
Motorola is bringing its current plans for its iconic RAZR line to an end, according to a Russian claim. Accompanied by a photo of the prototype in question, the tip asserts that Motorola has shelved a device codenamed the Ruby that would likely have been titled the RAZR3. Reasons for the move are unclear, though the phone has been based on the Symbian-related UIQ interface where Motorola now plans to focus on Android and Windows Mobile as part of its bid to recover its mobile phone business, effectively dooming the current choice of operating system.

So imagine our surprise when we unboxed the Sitecom WL-308 Wireless 300N XR Gigabit Gaming Router and found that not only was it free from pro-gamer endorsement, but was also an extremely capable router in its own right.
